To access Connect HPISD, click here or go to www.hpisd.org/connecthpisd/. Keys to success for learning at home with HPISD include:
• Students should access, engage in and submit all instructional activities provided by teachers through Connect HPISD.
• Students will access the online portal (See Saw, Google Classroom, and/or Moodle depending on the grade level) for approved online materials through the MyHPISD portal; this portal is password protected. There is a link to the portal on the front page of Connect HPISD.
• Students and parents should explore the elementary specials, STEAM, library, and family fun activities through the Connect HPISD website.
• Students and parents can engage with staff as needed through the “Need Assistance? Connect Here” tab on Connect HPISD. The site includes resources and contact information for our technology team, counselors, behavior specialist and campus nurses.
• Students and parents should connect with teachers (including teachers supporting the needs of our ESL, SPED, and Section 504 learners) to ensure that students' learning needs are being met through this online platform.
• Students and parents should visit the site often as resources and information will be updated regularly.
• Students, staff, and parents are encouraged to be flexible and patient as the plans may adjust to meet the needs of students and staff during this indefinite closure. In addition, be patient with each other at home, as we are all making the transition to a new way of learning.
