Highland Park High School is proud to announce 28 seniors have been selected as Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. These HP students are among 34,000 high schoolers recognized throughout the nation as the top 50,000 scoring students who entered the 2022 competition by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
"The accomplishment of these outstanding students is yet another shining example of the dedication and commitment HPISD students give toward academic preparation,” HPHS Principal Jeremy Gilbert said.
“Congratulations, Scots," he added. "Your success and achievement demonstrate the countless hours of hard work you have put toward academics throughout your high school career.
