The National Latin Exam (NLE) is a test given annually to Latin students across the United States and around the world. The exam serves as an opportunity for students to receive reinforcement and recognition for their accomplishments in the classroom. Students take exams based on their level of Latin. Not all Latin students at HPHS take the exam but all are invited to do so. HPHS had 36 students sit for the exam in March of this year. Most students won an award for their performance on the exam. One student, Annie McGuire, earned a perfect score.
