The HPHS Student Council hosted its Spring Benefit event April 30 benefiting DKMS and its mission to eradicate blood cancers. StuCo raised more than $17,000 and partnered with the HP DKMS Club to register more than 50 students as potential lifesavers in the bone marrow registry.
A Spikeball Tournament with more than 200 HP students participating alongside a Battle of the HP Student Bands was held in Highlander Stadium. Students bought a $20 ticket that included their spikeball sign-up fee, their ticket to watch the bands and a free Lucky’s chicken sandwich.
The event was a huge success and StuCo was thrilled to help aid the incredible mission of DKMS.
