Former HPISD Teacher of the Year Named Boone Principal

With over 20 years of experience in elementary education, Mobh is currently a campus administrator in Carroll ISD. Prior to that, Mobh spent a decorated decade in Highland Park ISD where she was named teacher of the year (2014), the fourth grade team lead at Armstrong Elementary, the Park Cities TAG Teacher of the Year (2014), and she was the recipient of the District’s Unsung Hero Award (2020).

"Returning to Highland Park ISD as the Principal of Boone Elementary feels like a homecoming," said Mobh. "I am thrilled to lead a school that shares my values of excellence, tradition, and community. I look forward to building strong relationships with our students, parents, and staff as we continue Boone’s legacy of educational success. I am overjoyed to be a Bulldog!"

"We are so excited to welcome Principal Mobh back to Highland Park ISD," said HPISD Superintendent, Dr. Mike Rockwood. “I have yet to find someone who has not effusively praised her as an educator, leader, mentor, or friend. Quite frankly, she is beloved by many in the Park Cities. I have no doubt, the Boone Community will be just as ecstatic about their newest Bulldog leader.”

Mobh holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master's degree from Dallas Baptist University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Southern Methodist University.

Boone Elementary's PTO will host the first meet-and-greet with Principal Mobh from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the Boone Elementary LGI/Cafetorium. All are invited to welcome Principal Mobh!
