The compensation increase will include 2 percent from Bond 2024, 1 percent from staffing efficiencies, and 1 percent from our PTAs and PTOs.
The teacher pay scale can be found here. For all other staff, the increase will be based on the midpoint of each HPISD pay grade.
“We are committed to increasing teacher and staff compensation in Highland Park ISD,” said Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Mike Rockwood. “Through the incredible support of our community, and our amazing PTAs/PTOs, we are able to provide another substantial raise—regardless of what happens in Austin.”
“We are so fortunate to have the support of our community” said Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Scott Drillette. “This raise represents another significant accomplishment as we continue to move our teacher and staff salaries into the top quartile of school districts in North Texas.”
If the legislature ultimately provides additional school funding, HPISD will immediately reexamine its compensation plan to determine if any additional increases are possible for the 2025-26 school year.
