Highland Park ISD principals fill many roles as educational leaders, community builders, budget analysts and guardians of policy mandates and initiatives. Principals work collaboratively with teachers to set performance objectives and maintain high curriculum standards, and they are members of a community of lifelong learners who are committed to professional growth.
For all of those reasons and many more, the HPISD Board of Trustees has issued a proclamation designating October as Principal Appreciation Month in HPISD.
