The HP Scots took the next step toward their third consecutive 5A state championship by defeating Mansfield Timberview 52-7 on Saturday. The Scots will now face Tyler John Tyler at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 at The Star in the fourth-round game of the UIL 5A Division I playoffs. Click here for the playoff bracket.
"The attendance and support from the HP community were tremendous this past Saturday," Head Football Coach Randy Allen said. "We'll need that and more for our next matchup. Our players really get a lot of energy from the noise of the crowd."
"The Scots are one of only eight teams remaining in 5A-D1," HPISD Athletic Director Johnny Ringo said. "When you play one of us, you play all of us. We hope to see everyone at the game this Saturday."
Tickets: Advance tickets are on sale now through www.seatgeek.com. All tickets are general admission and may be purchased online for $12 each with an additional $1.99 per ticket transaction fee. Tickets will also be sold on game day for $15 at The Star. Tickets are not available for purchase at the Highlander Stadium athletic office.

Parking: Parking is free and available in the Cowboys Blue/Silver Garages and the Gridiron/Gaylord lots. The Scots are the home team for the game and will be seated on the east side of the stadium.
Bag Policy: All bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes that do not exceed 12x6x12 inches in size. Bags may be one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags. Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, will be permitted with and without a strap.
The community is invited to a send-off for the team at 9:50 a.m. Saturday in front of Highlander Stadium.
