HPISD App Review Process
Twice a year, commonly used web applications submitted by teachers are evaluated using the HPISD Privacy, Security and Internet Safety Rubric. The list of approved apps, which includes applications for K-12 and those appropriate for only grades 9 - 12, is posted on the HPISD website. The rubric, used with permission from Houston ISD, was developed by Houston ISD in collaboration with other Council of Great City Schools (CGCS) districts, Common Sense Media and The Future of Privacy Forum.
